Installation Troubleshooting
The most recent installer file is called LwHt0100.bin and should be translated automatically by your browser to the installer (Haniport_0100_Installer.app). Double click on the installer to install the application. Next, choose the folder into which you wish to place the installation and click Install. The installer will create, if necessary, a folder called Longwood Wizards Guild in your installation folder. It will then create the folder Haniport Levee 1.0 inside that folder, and it will install Haniport.app, the Haniport_LwHt0100_ReadMe.rtf file, and the "Haniport Levee EULA.rtf" file.
When the application is run, it will also create, if necessary, a folder called Longwood Wizards Guild in the Applications Support folder for your user account. That's it. Note that the Applications Support folder is in your System Folder when you install on MacOS 9 and in your /Library folder when you install on MacOS X.
Purchasing the Product
Haniport Levee is no longer available for purchase. It was removed from our product offering in July of 2011. It may return in a different form.
Cross-platform Issues
Files created by Longwood Wizards Guild applications are designed to be cross-platform. You can email a document to a friend and if your friend has the same application, your friend should be able to open it without difficulty. It won't matter whether the document was created by a MacOS user or a Windows user, and it won't matter whether your friend is a MacOS user or a Windows user. This feature is true of both Haniport Levee puzzle documents, Seahaven Towers game documents, and Longwood Archive documents.
Upgrading to a Newer Version
Version 1.0.1 was the final version of Haniport Levee. If for some reason you have Version 1.0.0 (and almost no one should) and need to upgrade to 1.0.1, please contact us.
